An Edwardian tiled hallway consisting of 3" octagons (plus variations) with 1" squares. The floor had been under carpet for many years and absorbed a good deal of the underlay colour over those year. A relatively new geometric in Leek Staffordshire that had become soiled and stained from a lack of sealing. There was also a large amount of grout haze still left on the tiles, which gave them a dull grey tinge. Restoration details here
