Victorian Floor Restoration Nottingham

This is just one section of a floor we recently repaired for the Framework housing association in Nottingham. The floor had seen some serious traffic over the years and the original tiles from the Campbell Tile & Brick company had worn quite badly. As you can see from the photos pretty much every tiles has been cracked.

One of the reasons for this cracking was the poor foundation construction. When we removed the tiles the substrate and base pretty much fell apart, built up from bricks, sand, crockery, soil pipes. Not really conducive to a strong stable base.

After removing the loose debris, we refilled the void with quality flexible materials right the way through to the grout. The result is a far stronger and resilient base that will hopefully last years.
