Victorian Tile Cleaning Leeds

A nice little Victorian quarry tile floor in Leeds which had been covered over with carpet for many years before the new owners revealed this gem. From the initial enquiry photos we could tell there was a build up of moisture below the tile surface and had a sneaking feeling that this floor had already been sealed in some fashion. This was confirmed upon inspection.
The floor contained a variety of contaminants from sealers, wax, soil, cement through to different oil residues, the greatest majority of which we removed with our biodegradable cleaners.
Being above a slightly damp cellar, we took the decision to seal the floor with a premium breathable sealer to allow any moisture to evaporate. Once the floor had dried out sufficiently a polish could be added to the floor to enhance the finish further still.
