Two great floors on the same road in the same day.
Black and white chequer board floors in Oadby Leicester. Knighton has some fantastic floors and these were no exception. Though they are not the most complex of designs, they have been very well laid and their symmetry is spot on. This first floor needed quite a lot of tile replacements in the doorways where they had come loose over the years. The floor had been hidden under carpet for many years and had absorbed a great deal of dirt in that time.
We've managed to remove pretty much all the dirt save for a few areas which are ingrained into the tile body. With a satin gloss the floor looks authentic with a deep black and just enough shine to bring extra light into the hallway.
Work carried out
This second floor just a few doors down from the first, was in fantastic condition. Probably the best we have seen, all it needed was little cleaning, sealing and finally a polish. As you can see the end result is a great looking hallway that really shows off how much work went into its creation.
