A stunning Victorian floor in Burton upon Trent which has seen some serious life in its 120+ years. There had been considerable movement through the floor, with damp being the primary cause of the shifts and heaving in certain areas. This floor was a little deceptive as it really didn't look at dirty. But under a coating of old polish, dirty was trapped and somewhat ingrained. Plus there was the usual paint spots that are left behind on most decorating works Restoration details here
