This quarry tile floor was found under carpet in a lovely Victorian house in one of the suburbs of Leicester. As you can see the floor was splattered with paint, old varnish, oxidised oil and wallpaper, plus carpet grippers where still attached to the tiles. Restoration details here

A gorgeous Victorian tiled hallway in the West End of Leicester. We found the floor to in very good condition and really only needed a coat of old polish removing and deep cleaning, before adding our own quality sealers and polish.

Edwardian Tile Cleaning Knighton Leicester

An Edwardian herringbone floor from 1902 consisting of hard fired quarries. Even though the floor had seen a little movement during its life the floor was still solid as a rock and without still full of character. At some stage a bright spark thought it the done thing to hammer masonry nails through the border tiles; Restoration details here

Two great floors on the same road in the same day.
Black and white chequer board floors in Oadby Leicester. Knighton has some fantastic floors and these were no exception. Though they are not the most complex of designs, they have been very well laid and their symmetry is spot on. Restoration details here

Here we have a lovely hallway floor in Leicester. The tiles are by Craven Dunnill and include some pretty rare colours including a nice terracotta orange which we’ve seen only in a few floors. Restoration details here
